My hair is in the healthiest state it has ever been, and the only thing I really changed is that I started oiling my lengths before I wash.
That's it. No ten-step routine. I think most of the hair oiling advice online is just overcomplicated.

- 01 oil your lengths2 to 8 pumps through your mid-lengths and ends. Never your scalp. Then put it up in a bun.
- 02 add the heat capConsistent, adjustable heat opens the cuticle so the oil absorbs deeper and faster. About 30 minutes.
- 03 wash it outOr skip the cap and just go about your day, an hour, or leave it in overnight. Then shampoo your scalp as usual.
One honest thing first.
If you already have split ends, go and cut them. I can't repair a split end, nobody can, and it only travels up and makes your hair shorter if you leave it.

Won't oil make my hair greasy?
It goes on before you wash, on your lengths and ends only, never your scalp, and it rinses out clean. One customer put it best: “een olie die speciaal is voor de punten, die ze goed beschermt en de rest van mijn haar niet vettig maakt.”
How long until I see something?
Honestly: softer, less dry and more shine after the first few uses. For length and split ends, give it one to two months. I'd rather tell you that than promise you a week.
Do I have to use the heat cap?
No. The oil works on its own, leave it in for an hour or overnight. The cap just opens the cuticle so it absorbs deeper and faster, in about 30 minutes instead.
